Humans are innovators and problem solvers.

Many of us may feel powerless to change the world around us. Issues that plague the world and country are too big for any one person to handle and often times we give up or distract ourselves. We may feel the humans who are creating problems are too powerful to overcome, but humans are also innovators and problem-solvers.

ActLocal360’s philosophy is to use these innovative and problem-solving abilities to bring about systemic change through local community action. ActLocal360 identifies ways to improve quality of life for others and for our communities by simply stepping outside and recognizing the inequities or areas in need of improvement that we encounter, daily. Instead of leaving it to someone else to fix, we use creative thinking to develop a plan of action to address them. We activate ourselves to improve quality of life of for others and for communities.

No project or interaction is too small. Small changes add up to big ones.

ActLocal360 shares examples of the ways it is enacting this philosophy. We invite you to share in this philosophy enacting change in your own life and within your communities and networks, and to share it with us.
