Sharing neighborhood values with art

ActLocal360 is currently working on bringing a mural to the Glen Highlands Neighborhood in Oakland. The mural represents shared values of the community. Community members selected themes of multicultural representations of greatness, environmental preservation, and a history of the local area and achievements through a survey (results shown below). ActLocal360 is working with an Oakland-based arts organization that brings community members together with local artists to co-design murals that represent their neighborhood and Oakland’s diversity.
